Music Group at Viewforth

The Music group, to which all are welcome, is lead by our experienced church organist and Musical director, Andrew Robertson. It is by no means essential that you are able to read music in order to join them! They meet every second Monday evening to sing and discuss future events. We are very fortunate to have a talented Music Group to lead the praise in church at the Sunday morning services, and at other special services throughout the year.

At Christmas they hold a successful carol party, in aid of charity, which is usually very popular and well attended.

The organ has been the mainstay for provision of music at our services since 1898, but the music group also use piano, electronic keyboard, guitar, percussion, trumpet and saxophone as deemed suitable on occasions. There is a lot of talent available and we have a worship group who lead the modern praise songs.
